Giving at Hope Springs
We affirm a Biblical view of giving at Hope Springs. Not only do our donations and tithes support our local church, but they bless our community, and aid in bringing the Gospel of Jesus to all nations.
"If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God, and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.” Genesis 28:20–22
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." Malachi 3:10
What is a Tithe?
The Bible teaches us that one way we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis.
What is an Offering?
When you feel called to give over and above your tithe, we do so as an offering. Our offering focuses on reaching with love near and far, and by preparing our facility as a table where all are invited.

At Hope Springs Community Church, we pledge to maintain effective ministry by being good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We have a responsibility to maintain integrity and openness in our financial practices. Therefore, we are committed to fulfilling the following standards:
We are governed by a responsible Church Board. Along with it’s other responsibilities, our Board reviews and approves the annual budgets proposed by Pastoral staff and ministry leaders. Monthly the church board reviews financial reports.
The Hope Springs Community Church finances are overseen and administered by an elected financial treasurer. This individual is the only one with complete access to detailed giving information including donor information and donation details.
Hope Springs Community Church voluntarily complies with reporting of audits to the Colorado District Church of the Nazarene.
All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions are solicited with the understanding that Hope Springs Community Church has complete control over the use of all donated funds. Our policy is that gifts designated for a specific project be applied to that project. Occasionally we receive more contributions for a given project than can be applied to that project. When that happens, the funds will be reapplied to an equivalent project when possible. If no equivalent project exists, the donor will be contacted about predesignation options.
We are honored to participate with you in how God will use your generosity to make Christlike disciples in Northern Colorado, and the Nations.
